Wii at £200-£250 in the UK? - May 31, 2006 07:56
I read this somewhere today. And I think it' s pretty spasticated.

I mean, the N64 came out here at £250. Launching the Wii at the same price doesn' t agree with all the blurb about it being lower priced.

Heck, I know I' ll still buy one.

At least I won' t have to trade in a kidney like i would have to for a PS3.

£200 at most surely, most likely £150/£175. Regardless mine is ordered for release day - can sell your GameCubes too, that' ll take the sting out of it a bit. :)

I can' t remember off the top of my head but has any console ever cost more than the same figure in pounds as in dollars? (As is $200 becoming £200). How much was the N64 at US release?

You can' t really compare the price just like that since you have to think about the inflation. £250 today relatively less compared to the time when the N64 was released.

I thought I heard somewhere that the £150 price tag is more likely what' s going to happen for the uk.
