apparently they are targeting the same market as the ipod. And wine drinkers. Maybe to add a little class. Thats one thing the ds dosent have, class.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine. Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Weird stuff. I can' t think of what kind of people would buy that. Gamers don' t care, it' s too cheap for rich people, too geeky for cool people, too ugly for design people, too electronic industry-ish for accessorie brand-whores. I don' t know if you were joking when you said the DS doesn' t have class but I think the DS Lite has got lots of it.

Wrist Watch: Features a 39mm, simple, round case. Available with leather strap band for 73,000 yen or metal band for 68,000 yen. I love how they gonna charge you as much money as for a watch as a ps3 premium. yes i know some japanes eonline stores charge 74.000 yen,but im gonna use the 68.000 refer now... Why would you buy a watch for basically 67.000 yen=600 USD$ Which ps3 premium gonna cost in USA. Now 1.i would rather use my mobile phone. 2. if im gonna buy a very expensive watch and be a flashy noobi,im not gonna use SONY as a brand :P

Mario was once in Japanese Playboy, with nakes japanese girls. The most retarded thing ever done by Nintendo.

No,i read it at Superplay, for 2-3 years ago,and they was talkin about Nintendo really lowered themself by allowing that, cause it was not " fun" or " smart" . To have a cartoon mario next to these naked girls.

I think the items look really good. In case you missed it, you can see all the Playstation branded goods here. They' re actually pretty classy looking. I especially liked the pen set. Very nice! Worth the money? Not to me, but someone will buy the stuff.

Yeah, looks like they' re going for the ipod crowd. People who consider their electronics a fashion statement. good news if you have a girlfriend who loves her psp. she' ll think you' re being really thoughtful, lol.

I think a lot of people would find it weird as you' re used to them being and electronics company. It would be like playboy doing consoles or tv' s. But maybe they' re trying to branch out.
