The thing that confuses me about these situations is how difficult it is for legislator to figure out how to deal with the situation. It' s a really simple situation the way i see it. There' s a product kids aren' t supposed to buy, so fine the retailers that sell them to minors. They' ve got perfect examples in the tobacco and alcoholic beverage industries. You don' t punish the kid, that' s his parent' s responsibilty. You don' t attack the game makers either. They can' t control who gets to see the game they made any further than providing a rating. Does Jack Daniel' s get sued or attacked by the media when some teenager gets drunk? Of course not. Politics are the only thing that makes this an issue at all I think. Legislators are always looking for a supposed evil to campaign against and capture voters. The lawmakers that passed this silly little bill make themselves look like crusaders in the battle to save our kids from the wicked sinister videogame industry. and how the hell would they even enforce a law like that? There' s gonna be undercover cops stalking videogame stores?? I hate politics.

I could go off and name about a 100 reasons why there shouldn' t be any laws, but the first amendment is good enough for me.

America is crazy for this, how do you expect kids to learn..
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine. Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!
