No PS3 20gb for Europe???

So, now that they have gotten rid of the dumb 20gb pack; who else wants a
PS3?

Now that they have eliminated the choice for the common consumer (jaded crowd)
what are your thoughts on how this will be received?

I really don' t know what to say on it. I didn' t realise how short the time between is now only 5 months.

Was anyone originally going to get the 20gb version anyway??

I don' t know anyone that was going to get the ' ' core' ' version but I think it' s a step to cut down or limit how many units they provide to territories.

Despite the fact I find the £425 price tag horrific I wasn’t contemplating getting the core PS3 anyway. I don’t think I fancy paying that much though, I’m debating playing the waiting game and enjoying my 360 and Wii till it comes down to a more realistic price.

Same here, wasn' t planning on core pack, but 425 is at least right now, too rich for my blood. So I will wait for a while either till sony drop some money or till i can afford one. However it' s not a bad idea to wait, and see if the ps3 is as popular as ps2/1. Otherwise ps3 will lose a lot of exclusives if it isn' t widely accepted.

I think i' ll just get a wii this year.
