Just noticed this at the EDGE Online site, Climax and the Star Awards are offering a prize of a week at Climax to see how games are made.

Im confused - why post telling us about you knowing?

I think most of us know how games are made - I' ve worked in industry and am now a lecturer, but I think this is a GREAT opportunity for someone who isnt allready in HE to get an idea of how exciting and developed things are geting!

Also Climax make games we have heard of, even if we know, its always good to learn again!

What does being from England have to do with anything?
Someone translate for me?!

I' m always striving to get into the industry, guess I need to push harder. I might go for the competition myself. Worth a try.

as the bar gets raised yet higher, only those trying 100% will have any chance at all. A friend of mines work at EA was shown at their last open day , to show what they are expecting from graduates. And as for the programmers!! Find your niche and go for it all the way.
