Yep. I cant imagine using a PS2 pad for Super Smash Bros. Melee/Brawl. It would not feel right at all.
The PS3 concept looks too small for my liking, but, who knows, it might have felt good in my hand. I' ll never know the answer to that now.

The PS3 pad is crap. The dual-shock has some of the worst ergonomics ever. The joysticks are in awkward positions, the part that has the shoulder buttons on top is square (which digs into my fingers), and the d-pad is HORRENDOUS! Not only that, but the different shapes on the buttons was a little too goofy to me.
I think the whole " Wii60" idea is perfectly illustrated in the controllers of the 2 systems. While Microsoft has damn near perfected the traditional controller, the Wiimote comes along and is truly " revolutionary" . I WILL own both systems. The PS3? I' m still deciding.
