Nat is awesome, I love her work. Everything outside of Star Wars that is!

I' d say she was great in SW - as always, it' s not her fault that new SW sucked so much.

The only Musashis I know of are Miyamoto Musashi and the skilled japanese K-1 fighter Musashi. But I guess your Musashi is a videogame Musashi eh?

I know the avatar is from that " ask a ninja" thing (my brother showed it to me the
other day). But I dunno where Musashi is from.

Ok, currently in a mid-lifatar crisis, so I' ll explain my user name...

Tiz makes up 3 letters of my real name which is muTIZwa. I tend
not to choose alias' because they will usually always end up being one of
my characters (which is why, for anyone that plays x-box live, my gamertag is
IMeReDiTHI)

My avatar atm is Spider-Man... WHy? Coz he' s cool...
There are two rules to success:

Joe_musashi is the ninja charecter from most of the earlier shinobi titles, i want to be him so bad, but any attempt would leave me looking like the afformentioned " ask a ninja" charecter.

well done, thats pretty close!

While personally I enjoy pirates more than ninjas, the site is rather entertaining, and there are those who agree that it is better than " ask a ninja" (dirty ninjas stole www.askapirate.com).

That probably has more to do with him being a Dr. than a ninja. The question is, " Would he be better than a Dr. McPirate?"

Additionally, I have to recommend this site to those interested in this topic.

I am just curious about what your usernames and avatars are from.

I got my username while playing Lotus Espirit on the Amiga, we were linking and I tought it would be a great idea to put in ' Kong' infront of my name (Means King in Norwegian), so my friend who were in the other room on a different computer could read Kong Rudi is ahead of you when I passed him, I decided to use it in other games aswell, but many games didn' t allow space in the name, or it were max 8 characthers, and I' ve sort of sticked with it, where-ever I go.

Unfortunately I can' t set up a custom avatar on this forum.
Usually I am using this: [image]http://www.pardetonlineshop.com/~ron/MARS.gif [/image] as my avatar, it is originally a anim-file i found on a public domain-disk drawn by Eric Schwartz, and I then resized and converted it to gif, so it would look good on forums.

My original user name was Game junkie but I didn' t like it, so I changed it to a name I' ve been using everywhere since I made it my Live name.

Where did I come up with Agent Ghost? Two of the coolest characters imo are the twins from the Matrix, they' re my inspiration for this name.

As for DeadPool, well he' s just a badass.

well my username is actually my DJ name and the name of my website. It' s also my xbox live tag. I chose that avatar because he is my favorite game designer, I thought REZ was the most out of control gaming experience ever. I' d imported it for the dreamcast & was blown away be the seamless blending of electronic music & visual, I still play it. Space channel 5: 2 was also incredible, I can' t understand how it didn' t do better, the production on that game was amazing, He did things with music & gaming that I could never imagine, & his art direction is stunning.

And an awesome Avatar he is to, although a bit mad.

Mine is Nemesis the Warlock, from 2000AD. He' s a Warlock who lead the ABC Warriors for a while before handing control over to Deadlock. He also had a C64 game based on his exploits.

He' s one of the coolest characters to appear in 2000AD; that' s quite an achievement.

Note I was posting as Industrocyberbot23 (see page 2 of this thread) but now I can post from home and upload this avatar I' m Iad Umboros, my xbox live gamertag.

Yes, I do. My avatar' s background is already red, and it already has/is a symbol, so the overall feel is not that different. The only thing I' d be missing is an animal of some sort.

I first started using this username when I first signed up on Segaweb, back in early ' 99. I just wanted a username that was video game related but showed that I wasn' t biased towards any company or console and that I was just a gamer. Thus I chose gamer lol been usin it ever since for any boards that offshooted or contain members from the ol' Gamerweb.

I thought a new avatar deserved a new explanation.

Of course, I probably don' t need to explain who it is. I' m sure you all read Dr. Mcninja and are familiar with Dan. If you' re not, you should be. The reason I used him is because he' s my favorite character from that comic. Well, that and I was able to Photoshop an awesome .gif of his " Fire Defense" explanation.

I changed my avatar because the old he.jpg was kinda bland compared to the others here. It had a nice symbolic meaning and a beautiful history, but you can' t convey that in a jpeg on a forum. It' s relevence on a site for video games, additionally, was little to none. I liked it, but the more I thought about it, the more it didn' t make sense in this forum. Not very many people here would be versed in etymology or the history of language, or care for that matter.

So, do you like the gif? Do you think I should have colorized it? I left it b&w to be more faithful to the comic, but now that I see it in the forums I think the lack of color makes it stick out almost as bad as my original avatar did.

My username goes back to halo 1 days when me and my friends were joking about it and it kinda just worked for me since i was looking for a GT for XBL. And of course bkw is my initials. My name on here was supposed to be masterchefbkw, but i screwed up when creating my first account so it wouldnt let me use this one.

The avatar is basically because i couldnt upload one when i first became a member and now this one has grown on me
