It was bound to happen sooner or later...we all know what this will eventually lead too....

I' m not going to see a movie just because I get to smell it. I wouldn' t like to see movies with bad smell...
Does anyone remember that cool thing they had at the Aichi convention or whatever it' s called in Japan. Before you went in to the cinema you put your head in a scanner and when you watched the movie all of the important characters in the movie had the audiences faces. Now that' s something that would make me go to the cinema more often.
Unless I get to be Jar-Jar Binks in Star Wars...

Seriously - being able to feel the smell of the forest would be very immersive.

Maybe for home theater they could develope some special candy - you eat it and then you fart with the right fragrance at the right time :)

I give it 6 months before some senior or child dies of an athsma attack and this whole idea is scrapped. The allergy risks are just too high.

There are just so many ways that could go wrong.

it had to happen though, we' ve got 3D movies, actual 3D, not the crappy double-vision, red and blue glasses, kind of movie. we' ve got surround sound. And i read about a theme park that had actual environmental changes as it played the movie, i.e. spray from a dinosaurs mouth, wind from a tornado. we' ve done almost everything else.

The movie Half-Baked with fragrents...heheh
