Pumpkin

Just saw this yesterday and it is one of the finest films I' ve seen in ages. Christina Ricci plays a " perfect" girl with the " perfect" boyfriend. Her no so perfect sorority, hoping to rise from its runner-up status signs up to help the challenged kids to score points with the greek council. And then she promptly falls in love with Pumpkin (that' s his name), has an identity crisis, tries to commit suicide with saline solution and pepto bismol, etc.

Darkly funny and a mesmerizing world unto itself. I think it won the top award at Sundance 2002.

Oh, also go see Super Troopers. Non-stop laughs throughout.
