Why would they write it in english if it is a japanese word? And why would they name a risky console something that only the japanese can relate to? The word " go" is also written in western letters in the text. Isn' t it more likely that Nintendos " LIVE" service will be called " GO" ?

No no, the slide originated in Japan. The name in the west wouldn' t be ' Nintendo GO' it' d be ' Nintendo 5' or ' N5' , likely the latter.

' Go' is Japanese for ' five' and this IS their 5th console.

But meaning what? Get Online?

Reggie said something about it being ' Game Over' when Revolution hits, ...but i can' t find the quote.

I dunno, it makes sense to me for it to be the long rumoured ' N5' , ...but i guess we' ll probably know for sure in about 2 hours time-ish...

Those prices sound high to me. i' ve previously heard prices of 249 American or even 199 American. Honestly, one of the main strengths in the holiday war for the revolution is supposed to be it' s affordability. If it' s the same price as 360, it' s not really achieving that. I think Nintendo has to bring this thing in at 299 Canadian max. That would be 257 American, so 249 American is the price I' m thinking.

Well, £199 sounds right fore the UK, although the Core 360 costs only £209, but it depends on the machine itself and exactly what you' re getting for your money right?!

I agree that it' s a little close to the 360' s price, but it' s certainly possible. I mean, if people think that' s expensive, then how will Sony fare with an expensive console?

on another note, i' m hearing that Revolution (whatever) will retails for around $399 Canadian, which is $342-ish US and £197 or 285 Euro ...

Obviously the prices aren' t official but it sounds right to me...

are u kidding majic, many people expect revolution to no exceed the price of 250$, while the average would be 200$...

I know, but that' s what i hear.

I don' t mind paying £200 for the damn thing, ...i even think 360 is cheap. $250 is a reasonalble price point i guess, but i don' t know if we' ll be that lucky. Nintendo have only said " affordable" , while Sony said " expensive" , so what' s affordable?

Well Iwata' s speech is underway and already something GREAT has been announced...

' Zelda: Phantom Hourglass' for DS...

A 3D Zelda game with loads of touch-screen controls. It' s going to launch alongside Twilight Princess later this year!!!

As for Revolution, SEGA Genesis and TurboGrafx games will be available through the Virtual Console.

EDIT: Errr, ...that' s it...

I know it' s only 8 weeks until E3 but damn, ...i expected more (like many others). That' s a bit of a let down!

360 needs VF5, it' s that simple!

Yes, someone else actually thinks the same.

And the fact that PS3 has been announced as being region-free (though that could change), after the most shitty day I' ve had in ages all this wonderfull news comes and makes it all a bit better.

Like the pics of Rev in the flesh. Ooohhhh, just so excited about E3, with Rev and PS3' s full unveilings. Can' t wait to see the games, especially what they do with Revolution.

I' d hoped for ports of both N64 games (i actually hoped they would do a N64 range), but this looks cool.

I do think they could have used the Super Mario 64 DS engine and done a Zelda game with it but nevermind eh! This is gonna go down a storm in Japan and i' m definately gonna buy it!

I' m a big miffed that ther was no REV news though!
