360 launch and titles compared to ps2...

These was the best titles ps2 released in launch and 2000.

Now compare it with the 360...
We have opend 2006 with GRAW/FN3 for 360 and OB is coming in 1.5 week.
I think 360 stays close to whatever ps2 managed to do so far.
We got many great titles left for 2006,BD,too human,Gears of war,mayby even halo3+mass effect and splinter cell4,top spin2,alan wake,resident evil5,,prey and sonic to name a few.

If they do in fact come in 2006,we even have a much better start then ps2 had...
I wonder what ps3 has,ofc they have some great things hidden,and dev creating aweseom games,but they better deliver it or ps3 could be in trouble...

What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

that' s silly cause PS2 had a terrible launch titles and first wave of games.

360 is doing much better for now - that doesn' t mean shit though.

This year, the head start that Microsoft have is monumental. Some of what are likely to be the best games in years are due this year for 360. What we should be contemplating is whether PS3' s or Revolution' s launch titles and 1st gen games will be as good as 360' s.

As far as 360 and PS3 are concerned it' s going to come down to visual fidelity, control (which pad is better suited to which game), ...and online. Games like Advanced Warfighter (mentioned because it' s just been released) and Fight Night Round 3 are also going to be on PS3, ....maybe even Oblivion. But it' s not even like you can compare the games against each other fairly. Sure the development time will be about the same as 360' s (bearing in mind that PS3 dev-kits haven' t been with the developers as long as 360' s), but it' s fairly obvious that improvements will be made to the games using the extended period and that will be seen as the PS3 being superior because the same games look sightly nicer or have a couple of extras.

The only way to truly compare the consoles is to wait unil multi-platform third-party titles are launched around the same time and even that initially won' t be perfectly fair because developers will have had longer with 360 and have gotten used to the hardware.

3 years is what i' d say. Look at it then and make your decision. It' s not quite fair to compare PS2 to 360. Even the Dreamcast launch was way better than PS2' s!!!

When E3 comes around, 360 should have some amazing titles, and really be getting into the swing of it. It' ll be nteresting to see what Microsoft do at E3 to combat PS3 and Revolution...

Trust me,im not some anti sony fanboy,im getting my ps3,just showing that you can even make a so-so 2nd year without losing the war.
