Hiroshi Yamauchi feeling generous? - Mar 04, 2006 04:02
http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/nintendo/hiroshi-yamauchi-donates-millions-to-hospital-156236.php

60 million big ones isn' t what I' d give to charity(unless I was a billionaire), but that sure as hell didn' t stop Hiroshi from sharing his riches with those that deserve it the most.

I have to say... Yamauchi, I salute you! Not only for simply giving them the money, but for not turning out like one of the many money hogging snobs out there.

Great, btw i heard Nintendo sits on around 15 billion dollars...
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

I think you mean the ones who need it the most since the ones who deserve it are the ones who' ve worked their asses for it

It' s actually 7 not 15 - you keep posting 15 all over so this time I thought I' ll let you know (it' s still a lot - enough to make at least 2 lame systems and survive to launch the third)

Nintendo - I love those guys

" Rumours that Yamauchi donated the cash for the constuction of a new cryogenic wing could not be confirmed."
What' s a cryogenic wing? It sounds like a place where you... freeze stuff. You think he wants to freeze himself after death so that he can get revived one day? Crazy guy but you got to love him .

That' s what Walt Disney tried to do isn' t it? Maybe someday it will be made successful?

I think you mean the ones who need it the most

He donated the money to a hospital. Anyone can get sick, even those who work hard. Everyone deserves medical care so I think the money was donated to those who deserve it the most. Of course, I' d prefered if the money was donated to Kikizo, or even better, me.

I don' t think that sick people deserve $$ but they sure need it.
It depends on a man I guess.

For instance, if you have dying Ken Kutaragi and dying Hideo Kojima, you surely wouldn' t pay for Kutaragis treatment :)

Tomato/ tomoto.

What the hell is this? :)

What Yamauchi should do is return to his old business of running " Love Motels" .

I still find it humorous that a company with a clean, friendly image like Nintendo had such a dirty old man running the show for a while

Yamauchi is probably the one who came up with the " TOUCHING IS GOOD" advertising slogan for the DS

Hmmm Rev' s controller has a funny shape ..I think it' s vibrations are not just a feature - they want to appeal to female gamers right?

I don' t care what you guys say Playstation prez. Ken Kutagari is still the craziest of the bunch. My favorite quote of his is when he said something like:

" Microsoft is aiming for the moon ,Sony is aiming for the sun." lmao!

Nice! But it still can' t compare with Yamauchi' s " Pimps up, Hoes down"
