Devkits pricing - Feb 27, 2006 19:40
Did you know that the final Revolution Devkits will cost 2000$?

Compare thi to :

DS - 2500
PSP - 7000
PS2 - 18 500
Xbox - 20 000

- Revolution could really change the industry ...

Oh so that' s what Nintendo is doing! Ripping off Einstein. Smart
Even the word " touch" is used by Einstein. That explains the DS.

Nintendo are the only company entirely focused on games and improving gamers experiences by introducing new ways to play.

My point is that people are realising now what can be done, ...like with DS and it' s touchscreen, microphone etc...

Revolution can only build on that and it' s what could give Nintendo an advantage over Microsoft and Sony. I think Revolution will sell through the roof. I definately expect them to ship more units than Sony does.

Thats soo true, as soon as u seen/heard of DS you could tell thats their main focus..

I really hope the Revolution does well, better still, as good as DS has done.

With the success of the DS and its pure ' ownage' , you can almost know for sure that each and every other Handheld from now on (by whatever company) will include or ' ripp-off' some of its features IE the touchscreen.. which is a great thing, cos these only add to the range of gameplay.

Same thing could happen with revolution.

Everyone seems to be expecting Nintendo to make some kind of upgrade of their DS and give it more media capabilities like music and such but I don' t want that. I really like the fact that the only thing the DS is supposed to do is play games and I liked that with their other consoles to, like the N64 or the Gamecube.

I think the Revolution will sell very well, but the thing is I dont know if it' ll be all that amazing in any way really...

So far, to me, it seems to be more like a party game. Somthing you can get a buncha friends together and enjoy. Much like the board game Cranium or a closer comparison Mario Party.

I just dont see it as anything amazing except only as a huge leap for party games...

Just my opinion.

How about giving console gamers the only thing they didn' t really have?

1.Best control scheme for FPP games
2.Strategy games and any mouse based games.
(you do know that Sega bought the TOTAL WAR series creators?)
