Ryu ga Gotoku goes west!

According to some major game sites, Segas hot boiled action game Ryu ga Gotoku will be released in the U.S and Europe this summer under the name Yakuza!

I' m definitely getting this one! I just hope the English voice actors don' t mess up the feeling of the game.

No cuddling with cats this time folks, it' s time to hit street thugs with your favourite baseball bat!

Found out earlier today from my friend who has close ties at Sega (joy of text).

With regards to voice acting I hope they allow an option for Japanese voice overs and subtitles as well. I didn' t really have a problem with the first Shenmue' s acting (added to the charm) but No 2 seemed quite rushed in places.

Anyway glad to hear it' s finally coming out over here.

Shenmue 1 VO was pretty good, though i played 2 on Dreamcast, and much prefer the japanese with subs.

I hope they leave the VO' s off

I hope this game is as good as well it was rated in Famitsu :)

Heard there is slow down, and the exploring isn' t as good as shenmue, and the NPCs between missions don' t speak... All takes away...

The slowdown, i' m sure they can fix it.
the the lack of voice inbetween missions wont though i bet.

Still can' t wait... I hear the battle system is great.
