Games you want to see this next gen.. - Feb 23, 2006 04:06
Ok, what games do you want to see in this next generation?!

They don' t have to be announced or in development.

I want:

Killer Instinct 3
Conker Kills the Bush Administration
Mario 128 (wouldn' t be 128 though would it?)
Banjoe Threeie
Mortal Kombat vs Streetfighter
Fable 2
Resident Evil 5
Ninja Gaiden 2
God of War 2
Virtua Tennis 3
Virtua Fighter 5
Too Human
Gears of War (i want it now!)
Jet Set 3
Shenmue Trilogy
D3 (D2 had so much promise)

Virtua Fighter 5
Virtua Tennis 3
Scud Race 2 (hell, even just a port of the first one)
Garou: Mark Of The Wolves 2
Last Blade 3
Resident Evil 5
Street Fighter 4
After Burner
Mario 128
Metroid Prime 3
Nights Sequel
Shenmue III
Panzer Dragoon Saga 2
Streets Of Rage
Killer Instinct 3

That' s all I can think of right now, will add more later.

I really want VF5 and Nights the most, then Scud Race and Resi 5. Shame two of them are very unlikely to happen.

Super Smash Bros Revolution - with Segas characters and viewtiful joe (it' s more real that you think - heard sweet rumours)

KILLZONE for PS3 done well - and nearly as good looking as the trailer.

Outrun 3

Shenmue

Soul Calibur that goes back to it' s roots (SC for DC - balanced and slower gameplay with loads of fun)

Virtua Fighter 5

New PErfect Dark that rox as much as the original title for N64

Zelda

Metroid

It' s useless -too many games to list.

:)

Hmm, agree with f3hunter.

Would really like a free roam FP-RPG, based on and as deep as the Ghost in the Shell/Akira universe. Pretty hard to do right, but it would kick so much ass!

And I want to see what else Kojima-san has in his genius head apart from MGS.

It' s sounds so fuckin sweet man :)

Too good to be true I guess.

Kojima is overrated - he does some amazing things with MGS series , but other than that he has yet to show some skills.

Kojima is overrated

If you don' t " rate" Kojima, who do you " rate" ?!

Kojima deseves his reputation. The Metal Gear games made him, but he' s done other games in Japan that didn' t get Western releases. Nobody needs to mention the three ZOE games though because he didn' t direct them, he just produced them.

I can definately see why he' s getting bored of, and want' s to get away from, ...Metal Gear, and i do want to see what he will do next, but i think saying that " ..he has yet to show some skills" is wrong. Most games directors couldn' t even hope to produce anyhting like what Kojima has done with the Metal Gear series.

The man does the best cutscenes in games, no exceptions!

Thunderforce 6
Shenmue Trilogy / Shenmue 3
Mushihime-sama 2
Space Harrier sequel (Produced by Yu Suzuki... no Suzuki, no Harrier sequel)
Outrun 3
Panzer Dragoon Evolution
Sonic Rush 2
Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble 2/Scratch 2
Kingdom of Paradise 2
Virtua Tennis update
Virtua Fighter 6
Super Hang-On sequel (developed by the original Super Hang-On team)

Next-gen Double Dragon
Astal 2
Clockwork Knight 3

I would certainly like to see:

Halo 3

Mark of The Wolves 2 (with some new moves and 4 new characters)

Counter Strike 2.0 (1.6 is the best, even better than Condition Zero, just needs to be updated I think on the player models, or use the Source engine, but make it play like CS 1.6, that would be the best CS ever. CS:Source is gay)

Age of Empires 4 (more ages please, make it a bit more modern, kinda like Rise of Nations, which is coming out soon, yey!!!)

Ninja Gaiden 2 (definitely a must-get, I believe in Team Ninja)

Crimson Skies 2 (if anyone played this game through the end knows what I mean, this game just rocks!)

NFS Ferrari Unleashed (porsche unleashed was one of the best NFS games, I wouldn' t mind playing the ferrari version of the game, and change nothing please, besides the graphics, everything else is just fine)

Gun Grave Overkill (I LOVED the anime, I really wanna see a decent game version)

Spawn (this character could make a great game, even though the other games were failures. One day, some nerds will make a good spawn game)

I can' t think of anything else for now.

**Mortal Kombat vs. Street fighter. You mean the 2d version of mortal kombat? or u want a 3d game, street fightter in 3d also? I don' t think streetfighter would stande a chance against MK, cuz it' s slower than MK. If u say MK vs. Street fighter turbo, then....

Hah!! great video majik. I stand corrected, MK vs. SF would make a sick game!!! I would' ve liked to see Raiden fight Ryu though, not Scorpion. The ending wasn' t fair! Where is Subzero when u need him.

BTW, congratulations for being a winner in the contest! I won too, yeeeeey!!

I guess it' s not the first time you lecture me about things I haven' t said.

Maybe you didn' t read this part:

he does some amazing things with MGS series , but other than that he has yet to show some skills.

And this is true :

Kojima deseves his reputation.

But when you talk about reputation of a guy who creates great MGS games - other than that he haven' t impressed me - not even once.

MARK OF THE WOLVES 2 - OH yeah :)

My question was...

If you don' t " rate" Kojima, who do you " rate" ?!

The rest was my point of view. Either you understand that and are just being childish, or you English IS slipping.

You said he was overrated, which is fine. But is there a director who you do rate, who has done multiple titles and impressed you with a degree of skill in each of them?!

EDIT: KiLLeR, go here and watch Ken fifgt Raiden...
