now, understand that this is all hypothetical, but supposedly. microsoft turned out a handheld gaming device... they came to you... and asked you what games you' d like to have for one... I myself would say something Splinter Cell, Halo naturally, and Burnout. You?

Im thinking MS should stay out of the Handheld market. But if they do get in, a new version of Halo would be cool.

I' d agree with the statement that they should stay away from the handheld thing partly cos they need to focus on 360 for now, and plus I don' t think there' s anything that would make me wanna throw away my Ds (but you never know I guess).

I' m actually in shock nobody mentioned the most obvious..... Geometry wars with 2 players being able to play simultaneously versus eachother from their respective handheld and run up their own individual score. Or these 2 players could team up and try for the best possible co-op score via xbox live. In this mode of course players should share the same number lives and bombs. If player #1 dies 3 times early on in the game.. then its a game over for both players sorta thing. Come to think of it thats a pretty nifty upgradeable feature for geometry wars on xbox live arcade. Of course currently we have the single player aspect, but a sorta versus mode would be perfect and in addition to that a co-op mode over xbox live where you can randomly partner with anyone you please and make an attempt at becoming the number 1 geometry wars pair over xbox live' s statistics. Microsoft should most definetly enter the handheld market they certainly have the money for it and there is alot of success to be had there especially with the backing of the popular xbox brand. Oh and everybody knows that halo would grace the handheld at one point or another.

What the hell is this about? Peter Moore said it already - The MS handHELd was some journalists speculation and noone from MS have never said it . I know Eddie the Hated (why everyone hates you ?) :) said it in his first post but many seem to " not be aware of it" .

why everyone hates you? yeah, that' s my old screename ripped off of another interactive chat i visit. my name was actually Billy, at the time, and some jerk started messing with me, trying to put me down with 9yr old insults, then mob psychology kicked in, and everyone started doing it, so then the mods came in and smote him with a lightning bolt, which they could do, (i miss that site, shame it' s gone) and changed my name to Eddie, then i went in to change it to Eddie_the_Hated, because i can laugh at myself. yup. long story just for a screenname i know. anyways, i post alot of speculative forums, because for every 8 posts that are total garbage. !omgomg, diduhear gta is mixin with halo & comin out 4 revolution omg! there' s a really intelegent post or two, from people like Majik or Terry Bogard for instance, that sometimes end up being true. and anyways, it' s fun to laugh at that oh-so-special 8/10ths of the posters
