Super Mario V Grand Theft Auto..... What a joke !!!!
I have to agree with bobbers - Mario really is THAT good.
...?
Sarcasm? The guy is obviously demented to think that Sony' s PSP is anywhere near as good as Nintendo' s DS!
Now i like my PSP. I imported it from Japan through liksang.com when it was released, meaning i' ve had it more than a year now. I' ve played virtually ever game that' s been released, except for Fifa and King Kong...
Wipeout Pure is an absolute marvel and Pursuit Force (which i got 2 weeks ago) is another great exaple of what the machine is capable of. I bought Prince of Persia Revelations but i haven' t played it yet but hear it' s impressive apart from some sound issues and load times...
I got GTA on it' s day of release and was blown away with it. It was a technical improvement on GTA3 and i was astounded that it was running on a handheld. But graphics don' t make games, and gameplay is sorely lacking from many PSP titles.
I own a total of 17 PSP games and i have more UMD' s, but i' ve probably spent 2-3 times as much time playing games on my DS (which i only have 6 games for).
I guess it comes down to what kind of games you really want to play, and while the PSP has the advantage of being able to play mp3s, store & view images and play video, for me, as far as games are concerned i' d take my DS anyday of the week.
Sonic Rush is f**kin' brilliant! Super Mario 64 DS improves on the original! Mario Kart DS is utterly addictive, especially over Wi-Fi! There' s a reason DS is killing PSP worldwide but importantly in Japan.
When the PSP' s CPU is unrestricted, the load times should vastly improve. But unfortunately that won' t make the D-Pad or the analog nub any better, which is a shame really...
