Lost [no spoilers please]
-
Jan 11, 2006 16:59
Oh my word, does anybody watch Lost? It' s just gotten to the end of series 1 in the UK and bloody hell, I can' t wait for series 2. I' m not usually a TV watching person, in fact Lost is the only thing I' ve watched with any regularity for a while. It' s gripped hold of me and pulled me deep in. The hatch has been blown open and e' ve a few months to wait untill we find out whats inside. I cannot wait. So, anyone else a Lost fan?

At the end of the last episode Channel 4 had a ' public announcement' with a voiceover stating how sorry they were the series was over but that they can' t wait to find out what’s going on or what’s at the bottom of the shaft so they' ve decided to show the second series this spring instead of waiting a year. The whole thing was done in comedy but they then showed several scenes in series 2 and by god, they knew which scenes to show. Just little second or two teasers with no real spoilers but an alarm playing in the background ending with Jack I believe hitting an ' execute' button on a keyboard. Niiiice. Anyway, favourite characters anybody? Mine would have to be Locke and Sawyer.

My favouruite Characters are Sawyer, Sayid & Jack. Kate is a hottie! I think that its a very well cast program in general. Charlie & Hurley are good light hearted characters also .. In series two there are some completely unexpected twists in the plot, And 2 Excelent additions to the cast. Not to mention another Death! You obveously have a lot more patience than i do. As soon as i watched the first series i simply couldnt stand the thought of wating for my next fix! Great program.

Being in the UK I' ve built up a tolerance for having to wait for stuff as really I' ve no other choice. TV shows, Movies and especially Games; 9 times out of 10 we' ve got to wait a while to get them after the US. I can' t believe they killed Boon off but it makes sense as far as Locke' s quest goes. Boon was a sacrifice to the Island and for that he was rewarded. I take it you mean another ' main' character gets killed off? There are 40 people who' ve survived the wreckage and the unimportant ones seem to be dropping like flies.

Yeah, its another main character who gets the chop, But its prety much a non event in the light of other goings on during the first part of season 2. Well worth the wait. Season one is truly only a taster in terms of the endless directions they could take things. This program is the ultimate prick tease ..

It honestly is worth the effort firing up Bitcomet or whatever to get started on Season 2. I would also recommend the Series 1 DVD (Region 1) whch has some great features. Lost can be a real pricktease in terms of pacing and tease/revelation pattern a lot of the time but it' s simply the most watchable thing since, well... porn.
