Alan Wake 31st of march? Really?? If this is a good as im hoping (something like fahrenheit) then it may warrent the purchase of 360 for me. Then gears of war etc are just bonuses... Need to hear something from sony now, I want alan wake one way or another... Though i hear the team behind Fahrenheit are working on a new next gen game (can' t wait) On another note, while looking for 360s online out of pure curiosity as to stock levels, I noticed HMV (i think) stated no guarentee of 360 until June when supplies should be fine. MS really did botch up with that multi-region launch Thanks for the info though Majik, it' s probably subject to change though right? as always

There' re a few surprises in there. I also can' t wait for Alan Wake, especially if it' s out so soon! Haven' t heard anything about that game for ages.. Also wasn' t expecting Huxley by the end of the month. Have to check that out too. Out of that list I' ll be definitely getting Ghost Recon, Oblivion, Alan Wake, Prey and Gears of War. Still deciding on Test Drive, Splinter Cell and Chromehounds.. and Huxley as I said. Cheers Majik.

They are, as always, subject to change as uumai rightly pointed out. Hopefully none will slip though!

I doubt alan wake will be out in march, last year it was ' very early material' , i know a year has passed and all but its looking unlikely. To the max.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine. Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Actually Remedy have been working on Alan Wake for nearly 3 years now. Even so it could still easily slip...

alan wake screenshots look fucking awsome.....but i aint seen any gameplay at all, what genre is it in? rpg? i hear that saints row is going to be good, but the graphics dont look all that to me,and it looks like they have ripped gta off like fuck, i hope it plays better than it looks :p im gunna check my local game store at dinner time and see if they have released graw today....cause it was supposed to be released on the 9/3/06 i know they wont....cause they always release them on fridays but its worth a shot

I checked out Alanwake.com yesterday evening, the site still claims no release date and on the forum remedy have said nothing but when there is an official date it will come from them (as some release dates hinted towards the end of the year (" It' s possible but it wont " ) So I think we will see PS3 launch before we can get our hands on this, maybe as a launch or early title for the machine. Not great to wait but worth it, i' m sure. (And yes the footage shown at E3 was really early, you' ll notice the shadowing on objects, characters etc don' t have such a draw distance on them. So when the camera moved forward, shadows are popping up all over the place... Sure this' ll be fine once it' s finished though.

I can wait for Alan Wake if it means they can polish it up to their usual standards. Game and Gamestation had demos of GRAW and Fight Night 3 running today. Played a bit of GRAW, the first training mission - the controls seem a bit clunky but manageable and the textures aren' t as sharp as I thought they would be. Bit disappointed but it still looks and plays nice overall. Perhaps the later levels will be better... I' m still buying it though, the game plays smoothly and I sure that the mp will be awesome! Do they even have the resolutions turned up on those samsung monitors? All the games look as though they' re running in 480i! PGR3 looked so much better when I brought it home.

Alan wake is being made by finish " remedy" ,who also done Max payne serie. Its what i understanded a adventure/horror game, basically you live in a real living city, that turns into some horror world on the night, the main character writes horror novels, and in the nights there, they suddenly turns true, but to him... You have to find safe places under the night, with as many lights as possible, while trying to complete some quest' s... Well thats all i got so far.. :O
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs! What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

what genre is it in? rpg? And its not really an rpg, i dont think there are any character levelling mechanics, but it is set in an open ended free-roam environment similar to say oblivion or gta. The game mechanics I' m assuming will be 3rd person action similar to max payne. But its the story that I' m interested in.

The Samsung TV' s they use sucks major ass. They' re cheap and you can tell. I don' t even thing the employees set them up right because they always look terrible. It' s just the TV, it' ll look nicer at home!

Yeah it' s Far Cry: Predator. It' s basically 2 Far Cry games in one, ...there' s a 360 remake of Instincts that came out last year on Xbox and then it' s sequel Predator. The good thing is that it' s 1 BIG game if you like and all looks gorgeous. The water (waves) are the best i' ve ever seen! The online should be good too, and since i was disappointed with PDZ and the only other FPS is the OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD CoD2, i' ve been looking forward to this for ages... It' s out in the UK on the 31st of this month, ...a week today infact...

oblivion is awsome...i must admit when i first started playing it,it felt like a 1st person dungeon and dragon game, but when i got out of the sewers...and wow the world of oblivion is massive.watching day turn to night was top class, the only thing that could make it better is blood on the sword, and better structured conversations im making a new profile on live i managed to lose it so ill post it on here when ive sorted new one out
