Halo Movie Script Review!
-
Nov 08, 2005 00:06
If u haven' t already done so, check this out. http://www.latinoreview.com/scriptreviews/halo/review.aspx Even if ur not a Halo fan u have to read it, it' s really good. And knowing Peter Jackson is gonna be producing this, we can rest assured that the movie will turn out like the script, unlike other movies. When I read it I was just sooo happy. Oh and Weta is gonna make all the CG scenes and all that shit. Weta did all the work on LOTR series, King Kong, and other movies. Please give ur feedback on this. I know there r other posts in which the Halo movie is mentioned, but I thought I' d make a thread so ppl would notice it.

if its the real deal, it sounds like they are actually keeping true to the movie, maybe even making it more violent, but im guessing the arent going for a rating of 18 on this one, we couldnt be so lucky

curseds I must be getting old...usually I get the movie news up first! Anyhow, ya so far it sounds impressive on paper, however lets not forget what hollywood can do. They may not have as much control over the movie as with others but it doesnt take much for a good thing to be destroyed.

Yes, sounds very impressive. Hopefully, it won' t end up being " candy-coated" .

Possibility that Guillermo Del Toro (Cronos, Hellboy) may be in talks to direct. This could be good or bad news depending on if you enjoy his work. Cronos Mimic Blade 2 Hellboy Hellboy 2 (pre-production) If you think a bit further into this and Del Toro does land the job, then you can pretty much add one actor to the cast. Which would be Ron Perlman. Perlman has been in all of Del Toro' s US made movies except for Mimic. Whether Perlman would play John (Master Chief) is questionable, but he certainly has the physique and voice. Add the fact he' s doing another game-movie flick, the already doomed Dungeon Seige movie, you start to see some connections. Still he may lose credibility once he shows up in the Uwe Boll movie...even Ray Liota and Jason Stathem are in it...WTF!?

If Ron Pearlman was to play anybody in the Halo movie it would be Lord Hood from Halo 2 (the guy MC and Johnson salute to in the beginning). He did the Voice over for him. So I think he' d be a pretty good fit for a character he did the voice for. I only know this because I obsessed with Halo.

I actually like Ron Perlman - an actor with an attitude. I agree Mass X, Perlman definitely has the build and voice for MC. It wouldn' t surprise me a bit.
