Videogame Soundtrack Question
-
Oct 29, 2005 05:10
Just been doing some digging on a band called Crush 40, they were formed to do music for the Sonic Adventure games. One of the members is a guy called Jun Senoue who' s been making music for Sega since Sonic 3 and is apparently quite the guitar player. Basically Crush 40 have done a song for the new Shadow game and I love it! So i was wondering if any of you lot had heard of them, Jun, or could point me in the right direction to hear more of their music.

I' ve always liked Jun Senoue, he' s quite the game music composer and had a bunch of wonderful tunes in the original Sonic Adventure and some of the earlier games. Here' s a site containing game music from the Sonic universe. http://www.planetdreamcast.com/sonic/listen/index.shtml

Well us lot hasn' t heard of Crush 40 yet (at least not me lot), but Jun is pretty dang cool. He creates melodies that are actually worth listening to, a rarity in much of today' s game music.
