While far from a gurantee that the movie is going to be good, it does show that Microsoft is taking the movie seriously unlike most of the videogame movies that are coming out soon. For some reason I don' t think Uwe Boll will find his ass in the director' s chair for this movie now...

Also, Peter Jackson' s special effects team is doing the effects for the movie which I think is a big plus.

This movie is definetley going to make money because Peter Jackson is producing it, but I have complete faith Peter and his special effects team will make halo a great movie.Can' t wait to see how they make the covenant look.

So we go Peter Jackson producing & Alex Garland(28 Days Later) doing the screenplay... Well shit 2 for 2, so far so good. Can they keep the momentum up with the director and actors? I sure as hell hope so.

I think both the director and actors are going to be up to Jackson. It' s the producer' s job to get the actors for a movie, and as for a director...I think his name will draw the attention of some of the more promising directors. Jackson will be a real help during the movie as well with all he learned from taking the LOTR books to the big screen.
