Has Anyone Heard Whether A ' Merenaries 2' Is In Production?

Being that I have placed ' Mercenaries' above all (even Halo) as my all-time favorite game, I was wondering if ' Mercenaries 2' (or whatever they may call it) is in production.
Any news would be greatly appreciated.
Videogaming is the contemporary interactive pasttime.

I hope so...but iit was one of those overlooked games sadly...still most everyone who played it loved it so that could maybe just possibly be enough to get a sequal out....

I seriously hope they make a sequel to mercenaries it was a really fun game i loved it.

That game is awesome! I certainly hope they do another - perhaps they' ll use Vietnam as the backdrop.

mercenaries was a awsome game I saw on cinematech on g4 that it was in production but I dont know the date
