Story is very important to me, a game must have genuine atmosphere to be compelling to me.
I see the Metal Gear Solid games a good example (although just a little bit too much cutscenes watching ;) ) for a story driven action adventure, which I like most.
And then I like fast paced jump' n' run' n' gun games like Bionic Commando or the 2D Super Mario Bros. games.
With fighting games the aspect I love most is that you always get buddies over at your place and you don' t play alone.

I love games with strong stories i also love it when you dont know whats coming next my favorite games are also rpg like the Jak and daxter games and finalfantasy.

I like a game with depth and not just another clone. I enjoy working towards something and at the same time have the proggress mean something in game. I like a good story but not one that is seen through cut sceens, I like story that is integrated into the gameplay. Examples of games that I' m looking foward to are Oblivion, Black and White 2,next GTA and Huxley (MMOFPS=wicked gameplay).
