If anyone can make connectivity fun, it' s Nintendo, but in a lot of games it comes off as a gimmick used to sell more peripherals.

Indeed, some of their games would have been much better with the addition of online play.

Rogue Leader -- cooperative or competitive (a la Crimson Skies), it would have been awesome online

Super Smash Bros. -- goes without saying

Animal Crossing -- instead of interacting with furry AI friends and trading items with passwords, we could have interacted with real people and traded directly

F-zero -- Futurist racing online. Fun.

Supermonkey Ball -- you get the drill.

Ah, well. . .

Actually I bring forth good news, animal crossing 2 will be online, so that should be great fun.
