Need help with The Sims: The Urbs

I have contacted the 3 people for the pet show and have trained my pet but cannot get Busta' cruz to allow me to get into the pet show. Any suggestions?

I think it' s sad that ppl play a video game to deal with real life issues. Of course, you can' t get into a real conversation and arguement. But having to play a game to train yourself to feed your fish everyday or they die. That' s just...bah. Even tho, I played the Sims when it first came out, I stopped after all these expansion packs came out. I was like damn, soon I' m not even going to be able to walk outside without stepping on dog poo.
