2 completely different genres, is there any real reason to compare? If you like FPS go with halo if you like free-roaming urban do anything (what genre is it?) type games then go with San Andreas. If you like both then hell get them both... Basically they are both top-notch in their own genres but theres really nothing to compare since they have nothign in common.

San andreas gets boring after u beat it once you beat halo 2 you want to play it again, and dont forget the online multiplayer in halo 2.

Both have their merits, but Halo 2 has better replay value...

GTA:SA is absolutely huge, doing everything there is will take over your life. It' s much safer (and saner) to complete the storyline once, and then go looking for the extra stuff whenever you feel like it. In this sense, it' s immensely " replayable" . Heck, you can even spend hours trying to top the high scores in that crappy shoot ' em ' up. Halo 2 has a more conventional structure, making it easier to " complete" (offline) and classify. Still, it' s an amazing game, no doubt about that. As has been pointed out already, it' s all a matter of preference.

Halo 2 rocks on xbox live!

I wasn' t referring to a ' score' provided by a gaming website. My replay reference was based upon personal preference... Mercenaries has a better replay value than GTA...and so do most games, as I do not really care for GTA. ' Nuff said...

Sorry i personally don' t like either. I lost my interest in first person shooters since goldeneye 64 and perfect dark. Also i never played GTA for the story and game i just remmeber playing the first 2 and just being silly and doing stupid things but it got biring REALLY fast. I saw my friend play San andreas and it looked boring to me. I was not impressed like others were.
