What Do Ya' Drive? - Jul 01, 2005 05:36
Recently, I traded-in my hum-drum silver Chevy Venture minivan for a sleek metallic blue Chevy Impala.

Now I can actually not look like a whipped father of three and look more like a confident, more assertive, commander of an army.

OK...maybe that' s over-stating it, but I sure feel better driving the Impala!

Might be the mid-life thing going on...who knows?

What does everyone else drive?

What' s wrong, Terry, do you drive a car/van/SUV/etc.?

I know that not everyone drives...if you take the metro (or a cab or whatever) that counts too!

Terry drives a bus.

I drive a 2003 Honda Civic that gets 10,000 miles to the gallon in the city. 10,009 highway.

Well since Joe already let the proverbial cat out of the bag, no harm in showing folks how " I ride" .

They' re GREAT on gas!

98 Honda Civic...with the crazy gas prices of today gas mileage is the best. It' s even better when I' m making my 20 minute commute to school and having one tank of gas do me a full week of driving.

Damn, I just got a flat tire on my pimped out Mongoose going down this big ass hill. Dick' s Sporting Goods is the only mechanic that is able to fix my ride because everyone else is afraid to screw up such an expensive and luxurious ride.

My car is a 1989 Nissan 240SX that' s in top condition. Bought it for only $2k this year. I love it and as you can see it really has been taken care of. One of the most unique thing about it is that it reflects the speedometer in the windshield.

I always hoped for windshield display as a standard...

But, doesn' t the display interfere with your line-of-sight while driving in the dark?

That' s about the only reason I can figure as to why this has not already become a standard item.

Nope it sure doesn' t. It' s actually only about 2 to 2.5 inches big and you can control how bright it shows. It' s very convenient and located at the bottom left side of the windshield. I hardly notice it sometimes unless it' s really dark or I happen to have it turned up bright for the day time. I think Nissan has a Copyright on it and plus it' s very expensive to replace the windshield, I think.

my mode of transportation is very slow.. but does change in colour.

Somedays there' s lovely Leather interior and exterior, other times just ratty and beaten but comfy, and there' s also the very hot but not so comfy luxury look. I do love shoes..

I don' t have a car, so I walk a lot of places or take the bus.

Ok Mass X, we get what you think about the driver, but what about the car????

Lol, the thought had originally crossed my mind but I couldn' t locate the video right away, on top of that Homestead.com is being a real picky ' beotch' as of late with files I try to upload.

1992 Mazda 323. 4cyl 5spd. My mini race car. It is easily the funnest car I have ever driven. It is a nasty aqua green color. But hey I only paid $800.00 for it and it only costs me $60.00-$70.00 a month in gas. Even with it being almost a buck a litre.
