But the idea of a HDD and online downloadable content like patches and stuff was not evene in people' s heads at that time. This is suposed to be the online generation developers were counting on the HDD to be there for people to go online and save stuff onto the HDD. Plus the Xbox 2 is coming with a HDD so who do you think people will choose? The only reason why the PS1/PS2 did so well was because of the RPGs which MS is doing like from Mistwlker and Square-Enix (given the only one talked about yet is the rehash of FF11) but that could change with some persuasion and especially if Xbox 2 sells well before the PS3. So now you have to buy all the accessories plus the extra HDD. Which adds up REALLY quick.

Which means the HDD won' t be supported very much, except by hackers. :)
