Royksopp - The Understanding

hmmm I loved Royksopps first album ' melody am' but having heard one of the tracks off this one i' m not too sure if i' ll get it, don' t get me wrong it was good but it didn' t have the funky style of their other stuff, It was just a normall summer dance tune.

gorillaz - demon days
just got this today, like gorillaz first album its quite varied, kind hit and miss, some fantastic tracks and some which are just ok.

A new Linkin Park CD. I' m really pissed that Shinoda thought he was good enough to make his own rap album. Mike, you aren' t a good rapper! You are a f*cking back up guy for Chester! That made the wait even longer for their new CD. They should be working on the new album soon though. They said it would be started this summer.

Kelly Osbourne - Sleeping in the Nothing

It' s got the song One Word in it. She' s finally able to do her thing now. Instead of corporate bs. It' s an electronic song and hopefully the whole album. Sounds amazing.

I' m waiting for the American Idol top-three to release an album/CD.

That would be (in reverse order):

Vonzell Washington (a definite hottie!)
Bo Bice (cool dude...)
Carrie Underwood (what a hottie! pt. 2)

Those have the potential to be some awesome albums...

i think that all depends on the artistic freedoms they are afforded. i don' t like kelly clarkson as a general rule, but her new album is much much better than the previous shite she had released.

I agree...she (Kelly C.) has begun to come into her own with this newer album/CD.

Anticipation for the release of Carrie' s album/CD is tempered by the fact that she will most likely release a country album or some hybrid of country and pop music, since this seems to be her strong area.

Speaking of another American Idol artist, I really enjoyed George' s (black old school singer from last season) style and on-stage presence and hope that he puts out an album.

It' s kinda the same thing with Bo Bice...he' s definitely got stage presence and both that old school and the new school singing ability. Hope that his singing with Lynyrd Skynyrd is a sign of future collaborations.

the.ben, this thread has now entered the realm of depressing. American Idol makes me want to vomit. The whole premise. hmmmmm, let' s make pop icons out of people who were to crappy to get it done by themselves just because we' re a desperate society who will do anything to keep the hollywood ball rolling. I love the new add I saw on TV, you think you can dance, or something like that. I' d rather watch a bowling reallity show.
