New Ninja Gaiden for Xbox

And no, these are NOT in-game shots. These are renders designed to look good. The real game will not look this nice (ie 720p HDTV).












Other than the exceedingly high resolution which the Xbox cannot run at this level of detail along with a respectable framerate, this game looks pretty damned similar to part one. Yawn.

It' s about time another cool game came out!

I' d like to revisit Ninja Gaiden (never played the Hurricane packs), but I think I should first wade through DMC 3 while waiting for God of War. Bah, who am I kidding, I' ll probably buy it anyway, as long as the package is attractive...

It' s just the updated version for people without Xbox Live. It' s not new. Expect it to be value-priced for that matter.

These screens look pretty accurate to me. They look pretty close to my Current Ninja Gaiden Hurricane pack...

Heh, that was a good and pretty tough game. They really overdid it on the cutscenes tho. I mean it had some really cool and tricky effects that Dante did but I just don' t see him being able to do all of that.

Afraid to post the graphics as they obviously don' t compare to the screens above? Yes, you need to do a screen capture if you want to say that the real game compares to the graphics above. And the screen capture must be at 1280x720, just like those above. I can do it for you if you' d like. The hurricane pack doesn' t improve the graphics (I have both HP' s) it just adds stuff.

afraid? it has nothing to do with it. Unless you want to come over here and show me how to do it, that doesnt require me to run out and buy expensive hardware and cables just to take a pic from NG on my TV to my PC.

HP2 looked better then NG to me

If you are trying to upload to the forum, it won' t let you. You have to host it somewhere else and use the IMG tags.

Anyway I am not interested in renders from HP2, I want to see it from a real Xbox. I have HP2, but I never bothered getting past the first boss. So far all the graphics are the same and not improved. Yes, there are NEW graphics, like new bosses and whatnot, but not IMPROVED graphics. The game still runs at 480p, not 720p, so it is nowhere near as sharp as the above pictures (which are in 720p) look. Once again it is false advertising, showing us high definition screens of a game that cannot run in high definition.

if you havnt bothered to get past the first boss, then how can you comment on the whole package? i didnt notice any major difference between my NG game or HP2, and the pics given. They dont look impossible to me. And Since i never PAUSED my game to do a side by side comparison, i probbaly will never notice the difference. I even just had to Pic on my PC and look at it on my TV, and still didnt notice much difference. I had to stand against a wall to get the camera to get so close however. And frankly i really dont care. The game is still bad ass.

It' s been announced as Ninja Gaiden Black. It will have the 2 hurricane packs and one of the original Ninja Gaiden' s.
