Again I have to admit I was supprised with the incredible field of view and the realism of the action, the weapons also impressed. The PS2 like the PS1 always appears to be pushing back the boundaries of whats possible with the hardware.

I disagree with Russian. All PS2 Games dont have crap graphics. On the other hand, the PS2 does have limits (not a lot of RAM, not as good a vid card as XBox, no where near as much storage space). But the right dev could tap the power. Also, Halo is NOT an XBox game. It was designed using the TNT 2 chipset (computer nerds know what I' m talking about, its only a tad bit better than the PS2 chipset). But, Halo also uses checkpoint magic (streaming off the HD, hence the huge levels with only one load time). My bet is this won' t be " THE HALO KILLER" , I mean how many times has Sony or another dev made a " Halo Killer" (Brute Force or Manhunt anyone?).
