Old School Vs. New School Kojak - Mar 18, 2005 12:47
Telly Savalas is a legend. It' s hard to imagine anyone filling his shoes in the remake of Kojak - but if anyone can do it, i think it' s gotta be Ving Rhames. After seeing that dude in Pulp Fiction, I believe he can do anything. Looking forward to the show.

Anyone else heard of this?

I loved Telly Savalas! This is the first I' ve heard about a Kojak remake -- might be interesting to see who will play the lead.

Just hope the producers/directors can keep with the original' s atmosphere.

Many remakes take too much liberty with the licensing...

I have faith that they' ll handle this really well. I' m glad Ving Rhames is playing Kojak, as I said before. I think he' ll do a great job and will respect the work of Telly. From what I' ve seen of the commercials, it looks like its keeping with the original feel of the first show. Looking forward to the premiere on friday. Looking forward to friday, PERIOD.
