I was one of a few who thought Sonic Mega Collection Plus would take top and it did.

Hahahaha! I thought SMC+ might do well in the charts but I never expected it to take the number 1 spot. Thank bloody ' eck it did. I' m just so sick of hearing the name " Need For Speed" any urge I had to buy the game has gone.

SMC+ however is just greatness. It' s greatness that I played to death on the Megadrive already but it' s still greatness none the less. It' s just a shame the Game Gear games suck so much (But everybody only bought the collection for the main Sonic games anyway).

Alas, where' s Sonic CD? We miss you!

Then again why doesn' t the PS2 version have an NTSC mode? It' s as if Sega decided ' yes let' s make people feel they' re playing this on their Mega Drives, let' s leave in the borders and 50Hz slowness' . Grr!

But yes well done Sega.

Wow, seems as if Europe loves Sonic.. Can' t keep Sonic Heroes off the European charts no matter what!! That' s pretty koool to see! Wish many other Sega titles had that type of staying power on American and Japanese charts.

Kinda must piss EA off to see their top chart selling game was replaced by a Sega game, LOL..

Interestingly Sonic Mega Collection Plus, failed to end up on top spot in either the PS2 or Xbox charts. Coming in second in both to San Andreas and Mechwarrior 2 respectively.
