another PSP question.

I changes everything on the unit to english and evrthing is cool, the only problem I can' t get is, If I try to give my PSP a nickname, I can only use Japanese letters, same goes for when i try to name my Network connection, it' s also in Japanese letters. is there anyway to change this so i could name these two settings in english letters?
