Well I have a MVP Baseball 2004 and think it is pretty fun BUT I would like something that is a little bit more exciting/fast paced so I was thinking of getting a hockey game.
I looked into NHL 2005 and it seems as though the game was rushed and the biggest let down was that they seemed to have thrown away the create-a-player option so I figured maybe not a good idea to get this one.
So I turned to ESPN 2K5 but something about it just turns me away - maybe the graphics, I find them very unappealing (sorry to all the Sega fans)
So I thought of maybe going back and picking up NHL 2004 since it seems to be a better game than 2005 (I like the create a whole team option)

Opinions?

i dont know about the rest , but if your talking about xbox i would get espn nhl 2005. it is fun and oxm rated it the highest hockey game out

ESPN NHL 2005 is an awesome game that deserves its high rating.

EA has either been screwing up, or just being lazy about updating their franchise games.
