Midway aquires Paradox for MK:Shaolin Monks

Midway Games announced today that it has acquired Paradox Development, the studio now developing Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.

if it is anything like MK:speial Forces then no thanks. it will probley be a preqel to liu Kang' s storyline.

Considering Midway weren' t doing too well until the release of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance now their future is looking bright. Area 51 is looking like a good FPS and a Mortal Kombat game a year. It hinges on how Shaolin Monks turns out, remembering the last ' action' MK game IORI YAGAMI1211 mentioned was utter crap.

We' ll just have to see what this acquisition will bring to the Midway lineup.

Sounds like a good deal, though.

Anyone have the games that Paradox have created before being acquired?

Midway has a new President who' s name is synonimous with success. I read an article about him in a game magazine. He' s been the head of several huge companies. He said he wanted to change from the, " 10 mediocre games a year" to " 3 really good games a year" ....so far he' s doing a pretty good job.
