E3 for the gaming industry only? What????
-
Nov 07, 2004 20:03
I recently heard that to be able to go to E3 you have to be a member of the gaming industry. This is totally stupid. I was planning to go next year to E3 2005 but to find out that I couldn' t go. I wouldn' t even mind paying a bit extra to just get in but it' s not possible. This is like saying you can' t eat the cake without being a chef. Just stupid

Yep...of course you could find a job for a website or something and get in that way. That' s just how it' s been though. TGS is open to the public I believe, and it rocks as well.

That' s how it' s always been. If you are desperate to go it is very easy to get hold of a pass. Write the odd review for a second rate website and your in.

I want to go too. My school has this club and they are planning to go to E3 next year. I don' t know how but since we are a gaming school then I guess it' s possible once I hear that they can go I will join that club just to go.

Oh and Art school but most people are in it for getting jobs to work in the Vidoe Game Industry including me. Wether it be Media Arts & Animation to Video Game Design they are both the same except Media Arts & Animation is more open and can include many more things. Right now I am not doing so well... I failed too many classes and I am now so far behinds most of my friends are doing well and are on track.. I hope they don' t forget about me when they go off... *Cries*

Hehe. I would probably be crushed to death! I might as well just sit in my sofa waiting for the games to come to me when they come out! Lol
