Host for 77th Academy Awards - Oct 19, 2004 17:52
Trying to get a younger audience for the annual film award show, Chris Rock was chosen to host the 77th Academy Awards. Some say it seems like a risk to get a comedian known quite well for his profane filled acts. However producers and sponcers agreed that he would do quite well.

Chris Rock started his career playing a small role in the 1987 movie Beverly Hills Cop 2. He then went on to be part of the SNL cast and since then has starred in a number of movies and has several Stand-up acts.

Hmmm...I would have to check when it came out but I thought Chris Rock got his first acting gig in that Wesley Snipes-Ice Cube, drug movie where he played a crack head. Anyone know the movie I' m talking about?

A very small role as a parking velet. However his New Jack City probably was the actual begining to a real movie career.

You know the networks will have him on a delay of 5 to 7 seconds anyway.

That way, if he slips or strays, he will get bleeped.

That' s how they ensure things are kept safe...

Yeah, although things were not too bad until last years Super Bowl. How many of you were watching when Timberlake stripped down Janice? I started giggling to myself and said, " Uh oh" , before changing the channel.
