What have you been doing for the last year?

Well right now I am in the middle of installing some automations.  I ran into an issue with RF interference while the xenon was striking.  It turned out to be partially caused by the cue detector/failsafe wire which had to be somewhat rerouted as well as insulated.  I fixed that bug and the only thing left for me to work out is the remote fader for the CP200.  It is wired but I think I need to adjust the internal trim inside the CA21 because it seems like it's nearly wide open right now.  I'll work on that a bit tomorrow.

I've been WORKING as a MLT over the last couple of years. I've moved to a different location which is ~1hr 30 mins away from home. So commuting across cities, working, + overtime then returning home takes up most of my time.
Other than that i play COD MW2 online when i have time.

Why do you have 12GB of memory?  I have pretty much the same thing except two gtx460s and 4GB of Ram.

It is a little overkill, but I run a lot of shit at once and having 4 screens don't need to minimize anything.  I have a geforce 260 for my secondary card.  Probably going to add a 3rd and maybe even a fourth after I get more screens.  I could also add another 460 in SLI, but there isn't anything I play right now that a single 460 doesn't max out.  

Well I'm stuck in the UK until house prices go back up. It isn't looking great at the moment. In the meantime, I decided to do a Masters in Game Design. I'm 2 months in and it's 18 months long. I'm using 12 months worth of personal iOS development as the basis for my current project... so it should be good. I haven't been playing as many retail games as I would like because A) I've been pretty busy, and B) mobile gaming has kind of taken over.

Got a job with Disney online studios . Not quite the break in the games industry I had hoped for but I guess I will take anything games related for now :) ..

You guys both recommend the GTX 460? I'm looking to get a couple come Christmas, but I'm torn. The 768's in my price range right now. The 1GB superclocked is pricier, but I'm not sure if the performance warrants it. Thoughts?

I wouldn't get a videocard with less than 1GB of memory, and yes the 1GB version is significantly faster.

Yes get the 1GB and get the MSI version.  The cooling solution for it is significantly better than the others.  With the card running much cooler it will last a lot longer than the cheapo shit versions, and also run a lot quieter.
