Flesh eating robots for the military.

They're not specifically designed for flesh eating necessarily, they're designed to operate by consuming organic material.  If this works I would consider this the greatest breakthrough in robotics since electricity itself. 

Converting biomass into energy isn't new but every example of it I've seen involves a low return of energy to the mass put in the system.  I'm also sceptical you could fit such a device on a robot for military use.  Maybe they would make docking stations....

Ha! That's quite amazing. I've always wanted to be in a Terminator. Not as much as I wanted to be in Dawn of the Dead, but pretty close.
