I liked this Action/Horror/Remake flick quite a bit. Sure it wasn' t a mirror image of the original, but honestly who wants a repeat? I suggest picking them both up.

I liked the original...but this may be one of those cautious rentals of a remake.

I havent watched the original movie. but i have watched the unrated one. and its pretty good. it kinda reminded me of Resident Evil.

I bought the original Dawn of the Dead a few days before buying the 2004 Unrated Director' s cut remake and I honestly didn' t care much for the original movie. IT had some humor value but it didn' t do things as well as the other living dead movies.

The remake was SOO much better in my opinion partly cause those damm zombies friggin Ran and they ran REALLY fast!!!! That one scene where Ving Rhame' s character and the other people he was with were outside trying to break open the door to get inside the mall was freaky as heck cause that zombie was way off in the distance and ran at speeds that would win him olympic gold.
