I read about this on the Druge Report but could not verify the news on any other site. Unless your site gets its info from the Druge Report (or vice-versa), then it looks to be true. Sad. EDIT: Yup. It' s all over the news right now. ' Tis true. Sad indeed.

Oh my god... I started letting out a few tears. I am so sad and it' s painful to see him go like that. I love his role of Superman and it now hurts to watch it even more. Rest in Peace Christopher Reeve. I was hoping they would one day fix him and he would be able to walk around as Superman.

He was such a strong person in real life...worked so hard toward a cure for back/spine issues. My prayers go out to him and his family...

I wonder if he would have worked so hard if he had never been injured?

Tis a shame. What a great, and brave man. There is a lab in our department which receives funding from " the Christopher Reeves Foundation" . At least the research will continue, adn though he may not be able to experience the benefits, someone else will because of what he started.
