It seems alot of people aren't aware of how dangerous bears are. She would probably not jump into a pond full of alligators, but since polar bears look cute... the things are so savage, even the cubs are fucking crazy.

People tend to think that about most cute animals. I remember a year or so ago a woman got mauled by a koala bear. She picked it up because it was cute, and it scratched the hell out of her face. People should have the logic to realize if its not domesticated, you shouldnt fuck with any animal.
