From what it looks like. The cop was "sucker punched". IDK. She didn't follow any appropriate procedures. If she would have, this wouldn't have happened. The background of the story, was that the vehicle came up as the guy who owned the vehicle being a felon. She should have checked his credentials while he was in the vehicle. NOT asking him to step out, then checking it, and thus we see what happened. 95% of Police Agencies have Operating Procedures that say, if the person has a felony past, that two officers are to arrest the person.
