What's your memory like?

Mine's absolutely awful. I just found my keys this morning, after having misplaced them for about three days (breaking into my house twice in one week). On top of that, Majik just brought up a thread on DLC. Naturally, my mind gravitates towards my iPod Touch...

...and the fact that I hadn't the foggiest as to where I'd set it down. I've tried everywhere. My room, my school and recreation bags, my entire house and car.... Torr's house and car...

Anybody else like this?

My memory is funny in that I can remember a lot of things from the distant past in great detail, but occasionally I have a harder time remembering things that happened a couple days to a week before.

Terry Bogard - currently the most Unhelpful member of the Kikizo forums.

Sometimes I forget shit I did minutes/hours ago, though it comes back after a while, but I remember shit from a long ass time ago.

I remember the great and cool things that happen to me in great detail which is to say that I don't remember anything!   I remember Fathoms but he was neither cool or great.  Somebody please explain.

Yes, "wrote" being past-tense.

I have a good memory, generally dont really forget things. I do sometimes look for my phone while holding it in my hand.. but other than that it's good. 

This includes being pissed and remembering dreams.

I remember faces but not names.

I have a good solid memory...however the timeline is a total wreck. Certain events have merged with others while some are just lost in time altogether. I blame drugs and alcohol but then again even before that the timeline of my memory was all over. I imagine by the time I'm 50 I will be thinking that I was born a  night prior.

I'm capable of forgetting where something is when I'm holding it in my hand. It's horrific :(

It seems that most gamers are forgetful of common things(looking for phone when its in hand etc) but remember in extreme detail their favorite games. Maybe its your brain trying to make it easier to associate and remember enjoyable experiences.
