Hmm that title comes off sounding like one of those spam threads but anyways for those who peaked in here, the game Savage 2 is now free to download and play. https://savage2.s2games.com/main.php I'll probably give it a go being that its FREE.

This game always reminded me of Project Offset in concept. Whatever happened to that I wonder? Let us know your impressions, might give it a go later myself.

I played Savage 1 and tried Savage 2 a while ago. It's pretty cool, it's an RTS/action game, where the players play as the units and each team has 1 commander that makes the buildings, upgrades, suggest orders to players, and can give players power ups etc. As commander you don't do much compared to typical RTS games, there isn't as much macro involved, it's more like you're the team leader and general strategizer. As a unit the combat is decent. Most of the time you're doing melee stuff, you have attack and block and stuff, they made it a lot better for savage 2. Overall it just leaves me wanting something better and the only times I really play it is at a LAN or something. The main problem with it is you can't really make that huge of a difference no matter how skilled you are. That's my biggest beef with most games though. In an attempt to balance games there are always limits to how much of a difference one player's skill can make, which removes a lot of the depth and longevity of the game.
