Best job: Love what I am doing and getting paid tons of cash. I don't know what it is, I'll probably never get it but I got an idea how it should be.

This is a real job, damn it - I have a time sheet and everything. Here's today's shift, for instance - 17/12/2008 10.00-15:00: Hangover. 16:00: Fry-up. 17:00-02:00: Porn. 02:15: South Park. Whoa, past twelve already. I'd better get back to Jemma Jameson.

Best job so far? Probably when I worked at a video rental store. Easiest job in the world. Few people came in the store on public holidays, e.g Boxing Day, so I was basically paid $40~ per hour to sit around and watch movies. God I love double time and a half. Pity those days are gone.

I want to open a business, and sell geek paraphernalia. Gear, PC components, games, cult movies.

The best job I ever had was at Circuit City. I worked in the warehouse and made some life long friends at that place. The job wasn't too hard. Just a bunch of heavy lifting I suppose (I worked there when they sold appliances), but most of the day we just hung out. Didn't pay shit, though. My IDEAL job would be to own a home theater showroom, and be a home theater designer. I think that would be AWESOME!

Sounds like the weekday dishwashers at my current job. The place is an all-you-can-eat buffet, and they're damn expensive compared to fast food, so needless to say, our weekend staffing doesn't need to be too on the ball. On a daily basis, I walk back there and find them playing frisbee with food-tub lids, eating soft-serve ice-cream from cooking pans, forming obscenities on the industrial dishwasher with poster-putty, and playing footbag with our ceramic dessert bowls.... ...they get paid nine dollars an hour for this.

Nice try, but video rental people get payed minimum wage $9 at most, not $16/hr like you are suggesting. Double time and a half would be $22.50/hr for you, chump.

First, I live in Australia. Don't automatically assume that everyone lives in America because it makes you look stupid. I fall under very different wages and rules. Second, I am paid in AUD, not USD. Third. I worked there when I was 19 and my base wage per/h was $16.60. 16.60*2.5=41.50 Try again.

Give me the name of the place and the phone #, I will call them and ask how much they pay, I will record it, etc.

Look. I am not going to give you my ex-boss' number. He'll tell you to fuck off quicker than I am. But since you seem to have very little else to do with your insipid life other than phone up strangers, I'll throw you a bone. This is a payslip outlining my pay rates when I was working there. For retail jobs, casual rates go up incrementally every year until you are 21. So at 19, you earn 16.60, at 20, you earn 17.20, etc. If this doesn't satisfy you, I don't care. I've got better things to do than continuously make you look like an idiot.

That could be anyone's, give me the name of the place and phone # And that shows 20ish hours of work, where is the overtime? I can just call random video stores in australia and prove the wage is $9, just hand over the phone #.
