I can get two games and im not sure what to get. Iv played: Fallout 3 Dead Space Tomb Raider Underworld Gears of War 2 Fable 2 Iv considered: Left4Dead (problem is my friends all play xbox, but im afraid that no one will play it on xbox in a few months. I could get it on steam but no one i know plays there.) Call of Duty (is it fun, does match making work better than Gears 2?) Prince of Persia Resistance 2 Rise of the Argonauts (is it even good :P)

Left4Dead (problem is my friends all play xbox, but im afraid that no one will play it on xbox in a few months. I could get it on steam but no one i know plays there.) Choupolo and I play L4D on PC. We've played several matches together. Silent also has it, I didn't have a chance to play with him yet. If you want L4D I highly recommend the PC version. I played both the 360 version and the PC demos before buying. The 360 version is just crappy. L4D is great but it's not the type of game I can play for hours at a time. If you want a game to can play for maybe an hour a day it's perfect. I'm playing GTA 4 on PC, it's like Fallout 3 in that the more you get into it the more you appreciate the game. It has by far the best story of any GTA game. Niko is probably the best videogame character of '08.

We need to play more L4D Agent, its not as much fun with bots. Good time to get it too Vx with the European beta on steam. Dunno if it effects you Danes though. I'd recommend the Fresh Prince of Persia too, definitely worth experiencing just for the style of it, which keeps you hooked until the end. Also the number of different conversations about the story, characters and random stuff you have between you and Elika keeps it going too.

If you're only getting 2 games, I'm assuming its a money issue, in which case I would try to buy the two that will most keep you occupied until you can afford the other. I say go for COD(Its no COD4, but still a good MP game, plus playing through on Veteran will add to the playtime) and assuming that you find people to play with, Left 4 Dead. If you can't find people to play L4D with, I'd say go Resistance or PoP.

Prince of Persia is more style over substance that Assassins Creed was. It's impressive to look at but the gameplay is extremely shallow. Rise of the Argonauts is supposed to be kickass.

Your "played list" is games you own or have just played somewhere? If you don't own it, Fable II is a must. From the bottom list Prince of Persia.

Prince of Persia sucked. Big time. They toned down the complexity in a major way, though perhaps that's just because we've had a handful of "adult platformers" on the market since the last installment. On that note though, it made me appreciate Assassin's Creed and Mirror's Edge all the more. World at War is a rental kind of game, unless you don't have a preferable multiplayer fix. Sony fans have been saying good things about Resistance though, and no matter what Nitro says, the first one was perfectly decent for a run and gun.

PoP's gameplay was definitely oversimplified. How much it sucked because of this depended on how much you liked the style of it.

Eh, I suppose that's debatable though too. The game was very stylish, but the environments didn't live up to the complexity of the character models, which is a make or break thing in stylistic choice for a platformer. Y'know... said "platforms" actually have to look good.

True. There were some nice vistas though when you looked at things from a distance and took in a lot of each level in one go. Some of the perches designed to remind you of Assassin's Creed, allowed you to do this. The Alchemist's level looked very nice. But yeah, close up the environments were only a sum of their complexity - ie practically zero.
