What to get?
-
Oct 11, 2008 14:17
I have cash for 3 games now, after selling an old laptop. But theres quite a lot of great games on the horizon. There's Dead Space Fable 2 Fallout 3 Little Big Planet Gears of War 2 CoD: World at War I might precure money for 1 or 2 games more but what would you get? Dead Space Fable 2 Fallout 3 Little Big Planet are all out this month within days of eachother.

Fallout 3 (even though Bethesda might've fucked it up...it's still going to keep you occupied for months) Gears 2 Little Big Planet

Little Big Planet Fable 2 Call of Duty: World at War In that order. I'll play you if you pick up the 360 version of WaW. I'll be in full-swing reviewing mode for the first few days though, so if you see me prancing around in a multiplayer map, staring intently at weapons on the ground....

But whats in Little Big Planet except for a level editor, i wont be creating a level, and am unsure if ill bother with custom content, is it still a game for me. Dead Space has had an ace review.

VX is Danish, he doesn't have an imagination, he won't like LBP. I say: Fable 2 Gears 2 Fallout 3 You didn't mention these but I would replace Fallout 3 for either Command and Conquer 3: Red Alert or Left4Dead. Admit it, you just want Fallout 3 for the name and bitching rights about Bethesda.

Yeah your right :D Ill probably get C&C and L4D since they are pc games they are dirt cheap compared to console games. I think ill go. Dead Space Fable 2 Fallout 3 and hustle myself for the cash for Gears 2, or do some tradeins.

Does LBP actually have a built in game, or is it all based on user created content? I'm REALLY on the fence about this one, 'cause I got burned when I picked up Animal Crossing after everybody said how great, and addictive it was. Yeah. It wasn't. As far as buying games goes, I'm pretty lucky in that if I'm unsure about a game, I can pretty much bet that my roommate is gonna get it. It's weird, but our tastes are very similar, but just dissimilar enough that we're usually on the fence about a game or two that the other is interested in. For instance, I'm totally stoked about Fallout 3, and he can't wait for Dead Space, so we'll just borrow each others game.

Yeah, LBP has a complete single player game. It was also designed and implemented using the same toolkit that you get to play around with.

-Little Big Planet (this is a given) -Gears of War 2 (based ONLY on the fact that you have a GoW avatar) -Castlevania - Exile of Excelizia or whatever it is called that is coming out soon for the DS.

I don't know if I won't LBP... The beta has been great fun until a couple of days ago when I just couldn't be bothered to play it. I doubt I'll buy it... It must be because I'm Danish and have no imagination ;)
